Polbeng and Yuntech Taiwan Agree to Collaborate on four Programs

Located at State Plytechnic of Jakarta, State Polytechnic of Bengkalis (Polbeng), represented by Teguh Widodo, Vice Director for Student Affairs and Collaboration, signed another Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (Yuntech) Taiwan on Tuesday (27/8).

Both parties agreed to collaborate in carrying out the following four programs:

1. MoA for a 2+2 Double Degree Program in Applied Bachelor (D4) of Production and Maintenance Mechanical Engineering at Polbeng and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Yuntech Taiwan.
2. MoA for a 3+2 Bachelor Extension Program in Associate (D3) of Mechanical Engineering at Polbeng and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Yuntech Taiwan.
3. MoA for a 3 + 2 Bachelor Extension Program in Associate of Business Administration and Associate of English Language at Polbeng and Bachelor of International Business Management at Yuntech Taiwan.
4. MoA for a 3+2 Bachelor Extension Program in Associate of Informatics Engineering at Polbeng and Bachelor of Information Management at Yuntech Taiwan.

A Representative of each program from Yuntech Taiwan was present to sign the agreement. Teguh hoped that this collaboration would increase the opportunities for Polbeng’s graduates to continue their studies, pursuing both associate degrees and applied bachelor’s degrees. Even today, there are several Polbeng alumni who are continuing their studies at Yuntech Taiwan, from associate degree program to bachelor’s degree program and from applied bachelor’s degree program to master’s degree program. Yuntech also provided scholarships to these alumni.
